The Crown
Series 6
The final instalment of THE CROWN was released in two parts. The first part, episodes 1 - 4, focuses on Princess Diana's final summer; her blossoming romance with Dodi Fayed and the events surrounding her tragic death in 1997.
In the final six episodes, Prince William tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate.
THE CROWN is one of the most decorated UK productions of all time, winning Netflix’s first Emmy for Best Drama — and sweeping all seven major categories at the 2021 Emmys.
